Hugo Garnet is one sixth of Crack favourites Jonquil, and his side project Chad Valley is beyond summer. Hazy sunsets, lazy synths and bright ethereal dreamlike states are layered to perfection. Think palm trees, Miami, surfboards, tanned bodies and 80s disco dreams in the evening. It’s a soundtrack to that hot idealistic American beach dream, where everyone is pretty. It’s also really beautiful sounding and takes to a place hotter and sexier than where you are currently reading this.
