Luke Abbott is the natural heir to James Holden’s Border Community crown. His debut album Holkham Drones is a wonderfully crafted symphonic piece of magic and one of the best things Crack has heard for a while. Clearly taking huge inspiration from Holden, Abbott has crafted an edgy, hazy, multi-generic record that is finding buzz with a huge cross-section of DJ’s.
