Los Amperito
Sounding like a Mexican folk alternative to Animal Collective, Los Amperito are band marked in the ‘could be the next alternative music sensation’ box that we keep proudly on our shelf. Named after a Guadalajara specialty sandwich the combination of influences Los Amperito forge in their sound is wildly entertaining. From traditional latino guitars, to 60’s pop rifts, to indecipherable lyrcis, to operatic choruses, they are marvel of a band and a must-see when they return to these shores.
