Crack and Havana Rum Present...Luke Abbot + Worship
@ Start the Bus
Crack Magazine and Havana Club Rum come together once more an evening of future music at Start the Bus
Getting people in the mood after their free rum on entry, DJ Danvers gets the dance floor in the mood with some brilliantly pieced together house and techno.
First up Worship show why they have deserved the considerable amount of hype that has surrounded them of late. Their dark and brooding sound is totally engaging from the off and keeps the crowd watching them right through their short, intense set. expect huge things from Worship in the next year with a debut album and, judging from the large round of applause they recieve at the end of their set, a fair degree of success.
Headliner Luke Abbott is the latest start to emerge from the ever-consistent Border Community label. His live show is glitchy, emotive sounding dance music with a great electronic edge. His live show is experimental and dance floor orientated brilliance. His debut album Holkham Drones has been lauding praise for all angles for it's unique sound and Abbott is only set to get bigger and bigger this year with those on The Border Community roster.
The free rum disappears and people dance late into the night, going home heads full of new musical ideas.
