Peddling refreshingly dumb and simple jangly-garage-pop, Ssssnakes channel the spirit of US punks the Descendents and The Dead Milkmen from the modest setting of sunny Swansea. Featuring members of one of the hottest young punk bands in the country, The Arteries, their self-released debut album Kissss Thissss is a scruffy little gem, a hash of boozed-up tales, lost-love laments and in-jokes, while the ‘I wanna go skateboarding’ mantra of Ssssnake or Die is a slacker call-to-arms.
