American all female, four-piece, post-punk from Portland, Oregan, Wild Flag are comprised of two members of Sleater-Kinney (singer Carrie Brownstein and drummer Weiss) and a single member of Helium (Mary Timoney) and Elephant Six (Rebecca Cole). This officially makes them a supergroup. Unlike most supergroups, they aren’t shit and have crafted a superb attitude filled self-titled debut album making huge waves in alt-rock circles at the moment.
