Flats
Innumerable young bucks have come along promising to kick the hipsters up the bollocks and jizz punk back into the consciousness of London’s kids, but in Flats we may just have the one. Their two-minute bursts of doomy, yelpy, sludgy punk aren’t innovative, but no one’s asking them to be. Never Again fittingly resembles a horrendously grubby version of The Damned’s New Rose, the UK’s first punk single. Shit might be about to get nasty.
