Dark Dark Dark is an American band so far removed from traditional conceptions of American rock it’s very refreshing. Their sound is akin to a gypsy troupe in the same vein of Beruit, and have just released a rather obviously titled EP called Bright, Bright, Bright as a follow up to their 2008 debut album Snow Magic. Dark Dark Dark are another band to watch out for at SXSW, where they will be showcasing a ‘brighter’ sound that features a much more positive outlook. They are brilliant dark or light.
