Dimlite
Another superb purveyor of the instrumental hip-hop sound that is the flavour of many a producer’s month at the moment. Dimlite is the alias of Dimitri Grimm and he is originally from Switzerland. Using sluggish beats, odd noise and distorted vocals, Dimlite is a thoroughly mind-bending and head-nodding listen in equal measure. Having become quite a live draw in many other parts of Europe, his appearance at Start the Bus on May 30th will be an absolute essential treat for those who know and an eye-opener for those who don’t.
