Local Natives perfectly marry the oddity and emotional dramatics of American folk rock (without the fucking beards) with some big orchestral climaxes. Hailing from Silverlake near Washington DC, they are set to do some serious damage at this year’s SXSW festival in Texas, something confirmed by their touring schedule that will see them play nine gigs in three days. Waves have already been seriously made over the pond. Odds on bet their stock is set to rocket before they hit the UK in June.
