Eastern Electrics announce first wave of acts and epic location for 2013 festival
Those in the UK who’re passionate about contemporary electronic music are likely to be familiar with the Eastern Electrics brand. This morning it’s been officially announced that Eastern Electrics festival will return in 2013 on 2nd – 4th August at Knebworth Estate in Hertfordshire (around 20 minutes from central London), the site which has played host to legendary concerts by the likes of Led Zeppelin, Oasis and The Rolling Stones.
The first wave of acts has been announced and it’s a massively exciting, well rounded list. A few names which are instantly jumping out at us include Guy Gerber, Heidi, Kompakt honcho and Crack favorite Michael Mayer, Ben UFO, Blawan, Panorama resident Cassy and Roman Flügel. There are plenty of massive names on there too, including Dirtybird boss Claude Von Stroke, Damian Lazarus, Seth Troxler, Theo Parrish and the force of nature that is Dixon. The full line-up thus far, is in alphabetical order below.
A batch early bird tickets goes on sale this Thursday (10th) at 9am for the price of £95 (plus a booking fee). Camping tickets will soon return to the standard price of £145. There’s also a limited amount of premium VIP tickets, plus a group discount deal which will be available while stock lasts. Early bird tickets for last year’s event sold out within 8 hours, so we advise moving quick on this one. For more info, go to the Eastern Electrics website.
