EXCLUSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT: FLOW FESTIVAL ANNOUNCE AN AMAZING FIRST WAVE OF ACTS //

Today, the Finnish music and arts event Flow festival have revealed a remarkable first wave of acts for their 2013 event. The first electronic headliner to be announced is Kraftwerk. After the extraordinary level of hype surrounding the German innovators’ recent Tate Modern performances, Kraftwerk don’t require much of an introduction. However, it’s worth mentioning that Flow festival will be handing out over 20, 000 pairs of 3D glasses for this special 3D show.

The first wave of acts also includes Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Solange, the notoriety-stirring Swedish duo The Knife, Azealia Banks, Todd Terje, Goat, Maya Jane Coles, Blawan and Pariah’s techno taskforce Karenn and more. See the full initial line-up after the jump.

Flow festival takes place during the 7th-11th August. Held in Suvilahti, an architecturally intriguing former power plant just outside the centre of Helsinki, the festival takes pride in hosting art house cinema screenings, lectures and displays as well as music performances.

As 2013 is Flow Festival’s 10th Birthday, they’re giving 10% discount to UK ticket buyers. For more info, head over to the festival’s website. Early bird tickets can be purchased here.
