3024 boss Martyn is reissuing his 2009 collaboration with The Spaceape
The third installment of 3024’s KJL series is a reissue of a track taken from Martyn’s debut album Great Lengths, his first collaboration with the singular voice of Stephen Gordon a.k.a. The Spaceape, who sadly passed away last year. The reissue also features the Ben Klock remix and previously unheard track Camberwell Green.

“The third installment of 3024’s KJL series is a reissue of a track off my first album “Great Lengths”. “Is This Insanity?” was the first collaboration with the inimitable vocalist and great friend Stephen Gordon a.k.a. The Spaceape – who sadly passed away on October 2nd 2014. The song was written shortly after Stephen’s daughter was born and deals with the rollercoaster of emotions one goes through taking care of a new life. You carry on because there’s a responsibility, but at the same time you ask yourself whether this is insanity? The tune got a massive boost in 2010 in the shape of Ben Klock’s monumental remix of it. That record has been out of stock for ages, so I put that on the B-side here for you. I treat this record as a memory but you’re more than welcome to bang it out in the club of course! Enjoy..“
