Studio 89 announce Bristol Party, tickets available through Crack

Underground disco party Studio 89 have announced their first ever Bristol date with their debut event taking place on 10 April.

The event, which initially found success in Cardiff with discos in an underground noodle bar has prided itself on its limited capacity intimate setting, attention to decoration detail and a sleazy vibe reminiscent of New York’s disco heyday. In recent times Studio 89 parties have utilised The Colombian at Corsica Studios with huge names such as Craig Richards, Prosumer and Axel Bowman passing through.

For the Bristol party, the venue is an underground, centrally located space that hasn’t been used before with a cap of 150 people to ensure the intimate Studio 89 vibe is maintained. The DJ line-up isn’t going to be announced but will be comprised of artists admired by the party whether that be an international name or an unsung hero. Those at the party will find out on the night.

Each poster they are producing this year is centered around the theme of 70s NYC pop artists, the main inspiration for this is of course the work of Andy Warhol. Each poster is an iconic artist of a period and posters are available as artwork which they plan to exhibit at the end of year in both Bristol and London.

Tickets are available at £7 + BF from Crack Tickets here.
