Kanye West to headline Glastonbury

Kanye West has become the second confirmed headliner for this year’s Glastonbury Festival, following last month’s announcement that Foo Fighters will headline Friday. West will top the bill on Saturday, with Sunday’s big hitter yet to be announced. The news came via Emily Eavis’s Twitter account, who stated “We are thrilled to let you know we have the one and only Kanye West headlining Saturday night on the Pyramid stage!”

The announcement caps an action packed few weeks for West, including announcing his album and partaking in a whirlwind tour of the UK where he blew away the Brits, played a guest-littered set at Koko and gave a lecture at Oxford University. He joins Lionel Richie, the Dalai Lama and the aforementioned Foo Fighters as acts annouced so far. Glastonbury Festival takes place 24-18 June, watch the video for All Day, filmed at the Brits, below.
