Liverpool International Music Festival bring SA to UK

Liverpool’s International Music Festival is set to host a South African showcase.

This year LIMF will play host to SA to UK, an initiative designed to bring South African music to UK audiences. The programme sees two African artists travel to Liverpool with two Liverpudlian artists travelling to South Africa. They will collaborate to build a collection of songs related to struggle, activism and identity.

The festival will also be linking up with Liverpool party promotors Circus for some after-hours antics including DJ sets from Catz & Dogz and Circus founder Yousef.

This year’s festival takes place 27 – 31 August. For more information and the full line-up announcement head to their website.
