Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Ruff Sqwad + J-Cush, Hodge, and Tessela are amongst the additions
Simple Things has released another round of top names for their October festival.
The multi-venue festival, along with headliners Skepta, JME, Battles and Savages, will now be hosting reggae pioneer Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry in Bristol for the first time in two years with a full live band.
East London’s Ruff Sqwad will also be making an appearance and will be joined onstage by Lit City Trax founder and Future Brown member J-Cush.
Straight from Nottingham, Slime also join the lineup, and Mild High Club’s sweet psychedelia will also be making an appearance. Bristol noise favourites Spectres will be playing a hometown set, and ear-splitting punk will be provided by Sex Swing.
Nighttime brings a new wave of DJs keen to make their mark. Hodge and Tessela will be playing a huge back to back four-hour set, while one half of legendary Rub ‘n’ Tug, Eric Duncan, will also be spinning till the early hours. Berlin’s Darwin will also be making her Bristol debut.
