Sleaford Mods to appear on Channel 4 news tonight

The Nottingham duo will speak in support of Jeremy Corbyn

Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn, otherwise known as Sleaford Mods, will appear on Channel 4 news tonight discussing the current Labour leadership race.

In the clip shared by Channel 4, Williamson is worried about how ingrained “the way things are” have been instilled in our society, but when asked if Corbyn is the right choice for Labour leader, he’s certain: “He’s better than the other options,” answers the Mods vocalist. “Definitely,” agrees Fearn.

“It reeks of compassion,” continues Williamson. “That’s what you want.”

We interviewed the Mods for our cover feature just after the election results had been announced. Read it here, and see Channel 4’s mini-interview with the band below.
