Mike Paradinas, Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares and more all feature in a new documentary about Planet Mu
Mike Paradinas’ Planet Mu has been a consistent force in electronic music for 20 years. It’s an impressive feat and in that time they’ve put out nearly 200 releases from the likes of Vex’d, Luke Vibert and Bong-Ra. The label’s output is known for being progressive and eclectic and the new film explores Planet Mu’s impressive history of taking risks on different genres and sounds.
The documentary, produced by The Vinyl Factory, features interviews with label owner Mike Paradinas, Planet Mu’s Ekoplekz and Mr Mitch and journalist Rory Gibb as well as archive footage of Aphex Twin, Venetian Snares and more.
