Generosity and industrial techno collide
Christmas is nearly upon us. Sleigh bells are in the air, mulled wine is brewing, and Bristol-based producer Julian Smith aka October is giving away his debut album for free.
While warmheartedness is the impetus behind the giveaway, the album is blacker than a lump of coal at its core, combining EBM and industrial influences with steely techno and abrasive noise.
