Oval Space reveal first shows of 2016

London’s Oval Space have shared a the first shows for their 2016 line-ups

Oval Space has been at the heart of London’s clubbing and arts scenes since opening just a few years ago. They’ve played host to everything from art exhibitions and cinema screenings to 24 hour parties and this year looks set to be one of their biggest yet.

There are also a number of label showcases planned for 2016 including a Smallville Records night with DJ Sprinkles, Smallpeople, Moomin and Christopher Rau on 5 February with Dial Records taking over with a live set from rEAGENZ, Lawrence and Carsten Jost on 18 March.

19 February will see Marcel Dettmann, Laurent Garnier and Radio Slave play Oval Space, while a special guest will be playing at their sister venue The Pickle Factory for a four-hour set.

Innervisions founders Âme and Dixon will also be taking over for all night parties with Âme set to play on 27 February before Dixon plays later int the year.

The club’s own regular night Ovation will also continue this year, with a Ten Thousand Yen label showcase featuring xxxy, Doc Daneeka, Earl Jeffers and General Ludd set for 27 February at The Pickle Factory, while 11 February, Ovation will see three of Ghostly International’s finest, Shigeto, Heathered Pearls and Lord Raja, perform in Oval Space.
