Indie50 recognises the unsung heroes of the live music industry

Nominations are now open for the inaugural edition of Indie50

The people behind online ticketing platform WeGotTickets have announced a new initiative to shine light on the unsung heroes of the UK’s live music industry. From cloakroom attendants and punters to sound engineers and promotors Indie50 celebrates the people behind the scenes who keep the industry on its feet.

The long list will be drawn out from public voting before an expert panel comprised of esteemed industry professionals whittle it down to the final 50. The panel includes journalist Laura Snapes, presenter Tom Ravenscroft, live agent Jason Edwards, general manager of The Great Escape Kevin Moore, Moshi Moshi boss Stephen Bass and WeGotTickets founder Dave Newton.
