The First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, is set to speak at SXSW alongside Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Diane Warren and Sophia Bush to promote the Let Girls Learn initiative.
The initiative, put in place by the U.S. government, aims to give girls the “opportunity to gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to break the cycle of poverty, raise healthier families, and help build their communities.”
