Former New Order bassist Peter Hook has said that his upcoming New Order biography Substance: Inside New Order will offer a “no-holds-barred, comprehensive account of the band’s entire history,” leading off from the suicide of Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis.
The extensive biography, which follows Hook’s previous book Unknown Pleasures: Inside Joy Division, will cover the history of his former band across 768-pages and is set to be released on 6 October via Simon & Schuster UK.
