The rapper dropped the 30-minute, action-packed film via Apple Music last night
Drake’s highly-anticipated, Views inspired short film has finally dropped. Please Forgive Me went live on Apple Music last night and it’s a highly charged take on the 1993 film Indecent Proposal featuring plenty of guns, fast cares and explosions. It stars Belgian model Fanny Neguesha, Jamaican dancehall star Popcaan and, of course, Drake himself.
Please Forgive Me is directed by Anthony Mandler known for his music video credits including Drake’s Over, Miss Me and Fancy videos, Jay Z’s Holy Grail, Run This Town, and Death of Autotune, Nicki Minaj’s Starships and Rihanna’s Disturbia, Only Girl in the World and Diamonds. The film was shot in Soweto township of Johannesburg, South Africa over the course of one week before Drake and Future’s Summer Sixteen tour.
