Kendrick Lamar has never been one to shy away from the mainstream, just look at his stratospheric collaboration with Taylor Swift on Bad Blood for example. Today, he’s shared his latest high-profile collab, a guest verse on Maroon 5’s comeback single Don’t Wanna Know.
The track features Adam Levine’s trademark croon laid over a typically 2016, tropically tinted beat before Kendrick steals the show with a quick verse about a break up and the inevitable social media fallout. If you can’t be bothered to wade through Levine’s incessant whinge just skip to 2:20 for Kendrick’s bars.
