Cohen’s manager Robert B. Kory released a statement to the press last night
Iconic singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen passed away last week. His death was made public on Friday but no cause was given immediately. Last night Cohen’s manager Robert B. Kory released a statement to the press: “Leonard Cohen died during his sleep following a fall in the middle of the night on Nov. 7,” He wrote. “The death was sudden, unexpected and peaceful.”
It was also reported, by The New Yorker‘s radio programme, that Cohen had been battling cancer at the time of his death.
