Not just that hidden galaxy then?
Jonathan Barnbrook, the designer behind David Bowie’s Blackstar album artwork, has revealed that a galaxy hidden behind the black star isn’t the album’s only hidden message. Speaking with Mary Ann Hobbs on BBC Radio 6 Music he explained that there are several secrets hidden in the vinyl version of Blackstar that no-one has uncovered yet.
“There’s actually a few other things as well,” Barnbrook told Hobbs yesterday. “Actually, there’s one big thing which people haven’t discovered yet on the album. Let’s just say, if people find it, they find it, and if they don’t, they don’t. And remember what Bowie said about not explaining everything.” Before adding. “There are a lot of other things going on that aren’t at the surface. I do hope people see them. Not necessarily straight away.”
