Nicolas Jaar, Death Grips and more join Field Day lineup

The London festival have already announced appearances from Aphex Twin and Flying Lotus and they’ve just added a host of new names

Field Day have stepped up as they continue to bring some of the biggest names in music to their festival with their latest lineup announcement. Joining headliner Aphex Twin, and fellow IDM experimenter Flying Lotus, will be a host of acts from all corners of the musical map.

Berlin’s Moderat, recent Crack Magazine cover star Nicolas Jaar and noise-rap trio Death Grips will all be making appearances. They’ve also added rising star Mura Musa, the year’s most talked about synth revivalists S U R V I V E, shoegaze pioneers Slowdive and world music icon King Sunny Ade.

The lineup is completed by bands like Whitney, Methyl Ethel, Kevin Morby, HAELOS, King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, Julia Jacklin, Áine Cahill, Imarhan and Flamingods, electronic acts such as Silver Apples, Moodymann, Gaika, Forest Swords, Fatima Yamaha (live), Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Omar Souleyman and more. There will also be plenty of DJ sets from the likes of Jon Hopkins, Midland, Nina Kraviz, Marcel Dettmann, Lena Willikens, Hunee, Job Jobse and more.
