Tony Visconti shares personal note about David Bowie’s passing

One year on from his death, David Bowie’s longtime producer and friend Tony Visconti has shared an emotional note on Facebook about discovering and dealing with the passing of Bowie.

In the short message, Visconti recounts the moment he found out the news before talking about his very personal experience of grief – acknowledging his band as a crucial support network.

Further on, Visconti talks about the recording of Blackstar, saying he, Bowie and the musicians involved knew they were “constructing a Gothic cathedral”.
