Slaves receive part of £250,000 grant for ‘overseas promotional touring’

The £250,000 grant is split between 21 artists and aims to help independent bands and labels with overseas promotion and touring

The BPI, the UK music industry’s trade association, has announced the recipients of their annual Music Exports Growth Scheme grant. The £250,000 pot is split between artists who want to promote their music and tour overseas.

This year’s recipients include established artists like Slaves, Everything Everything, Cate Le Bon, White Lies and Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes as well as a handful of more underground artists like Flamingods and Tigercub.
