Kelly Lee Owens and Jenny Hval share their collaborative video Anxi

The London producer will be releasing her album this week

The self-titled debut album, Kelly Lee Owensis set to drop tomorrow (24 March) via Smalltown Supersound.

In anticipation of its release, the producer has shared her new track and visual, entitled Anxi, featuring Nordic talent Jenny Hval.

Directed by visual artist Kim Hiorthøy, the clip portrays an isolated ‘narrative of reality’ through a series of trippy animations of hands, facial expressions, running machines and a figure falling against a background of housing blocks.

On the new album, the press notes describe it as an exploration “into a variety of moods – sadness, anxiety, and darkly shaded ecstasy – with a trippy-eyed clarity and confidence”.

You can stream the album now on NPR Music and pre-order it here.
