Listen: Blondie release Dev Hynes collaboration Long Time

The track is the third single to be taken from their forthcoming LP Pollinator

New York icons Blondie have released the third single from their yet-to-be released 11th album Pollinator. The track, Long Time, is a collaboration with Dev Hynes of Blood Orange, just one of the numerous guests that the band have worked with on the record. Other contributors include Sia, Charli XCX, Laurie Anderson, Dave Sitek, Joan Jett, Johnny Marr and The Strokes’ Nick Valensi.

This isn’t the first time Hynes and Blondie have come together. In 2016, Debbie Harry sang on Freetown Sound cut E.V.P.

Long Time reaches for some familiar Blondie touchstones including a disco beat and a bassline that’s strutted straight out of Heart of Glass – an intentional reference. You can listen to the track via the player below.
