Mark Lanegan Band announces new album Gargoyle

The LP will feature guest appearances from collaborators Josh Homme, Greg Dulli and Duke Garwood

Mark Lanegan Band are set to release Gargoyle on 28 April via Heavenly Records.

The 10-track release will feature appearances from longtime collaborators.

On the new album, Lanegan says, “Part of the way that I stay interested in making music is by collaborating with other people. When I see things through somebody else’s perspective it’s more exciting than if I’m left to my own devices.”

Initially, the album began as a project between Lanegan and musician Rob Marshall. The forthcoming release will see Lanegan progress from his previous Krautrock-influenced albums.

An extensive European tour has also been announced, beginning from Birmingham (19 June) and ending in a performance at Glastonbury.
