According to the latest poster, an event will commence on 23 August in Liverpool
Today (6 March), The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu – aka Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty of The KLF – offered yet more cryptic clues as to their highly anticipated return.
The poster, tweeted from an account called K2PLANTHIRE, declared: “The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu will be unearthing aspects of the 2023 trilogy across Liverpool,” before listing the times and dates of 00.23 on 23 August to 23.23 on 27 August.

The latest in a line of breadcrumbs laid by the rave provocateurs, the communiqué follows a similar poster shared at the start of the year strongly hinting that Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty’s 23 year silence was to be broken this summer. In February, the duo announced a new book – 2023: A Trilogy – set for release on 23 August via Faber & Faber.
