The self-directed visual shows people hanging out in Los Angeles wearing dog masks
Mac DeMarco has shared a new video today (30 March), in which people wearing dog masks kiss to the slow jam This Old Dog.
In the press release, the Canadian singer-songwriter has used the description of the film A Dog’s Purpose to explain his video.
“A devoted dog discovers the meaning of its own existence through the lives of the humans it teaches to laugh and love. Reincarnated as multiple canines over the course of five decades, the lovable pooch develops an unbreakable bond with a kindred spirit named Ethan. As the boy grows older and comes to a crossroad, the dog once again comes back into his life to remind him of his true self.”
The track comes from the musician’s forthcoming album – also entitled This Old Dog – which is slated for release on 5 May via Captured Tracks.
