Linkin Park discuss Stormzy collaboration

In an interview with BeBoxMusic, Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda have discussed their collaboration with Stormzy, also suggesting that Pusha T is featured. The nu metal veterans also spoke about the track during a recent Q&A.

“Right before we sent in the record to be finalised… we got Stormzy’s verse and it was dope,” he said. “Little did we know that, he was about to take over the world.” The record Bennington refers to could be the American band’s forthcoming album, One More Light, slated for release on 19 May via Warner Bros. Records.

He continues: “Apparently he was like, ‘Yeah.’ That wasn’t that difficult, but we knew of Stormzy and that’s why we reached out to him. We like Stormzy and we think that he’s dope.”

“He’s not well known in the US at all,” Shinoda says.
