Wes Anderson’s new film Isle Of Dogs unveils release date and poster

A release date has been set for April 2018 and the cast will feature Bill Murray, Yoko Ono, Tilda Swinton and more

Anderson’s new animated comedy film, entitled Isle Of Dogs, will be hitting cinemas in North America on 20 April, 2018. The Indian Paintbrush-produced stop-motion film will tell the story of a boy searching for his missing dog in Japan.

The cast will feature Bill Murray, Yoko Ono, Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, Kunichi Nomura, Mari Natsuki, Greta Gerwig, Frances McDormand, Akira Takayama, Tilda Swinton, Scarlett Johansson and more.

Isle Of Dogs will be the acclaimed auteur’s first film since 2014’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, and his first stop-motion animation since Fantastic Mr. Fox in 2009.

In December, the film director shared a teaser for the upcoming release and teamed up with crowdfunding platform CrowdRise to offer a fan the chance to be involved by donating to Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundation. See the new poster and watch the teaser below,
