New limited edition David Bowie vinyls to be released

The songs Be My Wife and I’m Afraid Of Americans will be getting the picture disc treatment

The Be My Wife picture disc – taken from the late icon’s 1977 album Low – will feature a remastered version of the track on the A-side and a live version of Art Decade recorded from his 1978 performance at Perth, Australia, on the B-side.

The I’m Afraid Of Americans track will be reissued on 7″ vinyl with photographs taken by Mexican photographer Fernando Aceves – who captured Bowie’s historic visit to Mexico in 1997, which was to be the icon’s first and only show in the city. The vinyl will be available to purchase exclusively in the David Bowie Is exhibition at Museu Del Disseny De Barcelona.

The repress will also include a remix of the track by Trent Reznor and a live stripped-down performance of Heroes.

Bowie’s Labyrinth soundtrack has also been previously announced for a vinyl reissue, and it’ll be out on 12 May.
