The speculation is over
In an interview with Noisey earlier this year, the Cali rapper revealed that he’s been working on a new album named Big Fish Theory. A release date has been announced today (18 May) during an interview with Zane Lowe. The upcoming album is slated for release on 23 June via Def Jam and it’ll be the follow-up to last year’s Prima Donna EP.
Earlier today, the rapper mysteriously tweeted: “Why wait ?”, prompting a slew of memes and panicked tweets from his fans. Now, he’s dropped the new track Big Fish, featuring Juicy J, with an accompanying visual on YouTube.
So far this year, Staples has collaborated with the Gorillaz on the track Ascension for their album Humanz, and released the single 562 with Joey Fatts.
