Nicki Minaj addresses Remy Ma beef on new 2 Chainz track, ‘Realize’

2 Chainz releases his hotly anticipated fourth studio album today, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music.

Nicki Minaj appears for a guest verse on Realize and uses the opportunity to address her ongoing beef with Remy Ma.

In February, Ma released Shether – a 7-minute diss track aimed at Minaj set to the beat from Nas’ Ether from his 2001 LP Stillmatic.

On her guest spot on Realize, Minaj raps…

“I’ve been winning 8 years consistently, at least respect it / Papoose wrote a Ether record / But I broke Aretha record / See this is chess, not checkers / You can not check the checkers / Did Nas clear that “Ether” record? / Nah, but I broke Aretha record.”

Nicki is claiming that Remy’s use of the beat wasn’t cleared by Nas. Watch this space.
