D’Angelo has announced details of a deluxe reissue of his 1995 debut album, Brown Sugar.
The new remastered edition will feature bonus tracks, a cappella versions, instrumentals and previously issued remixes from DJ Premier, Kool G. Rap, and a handful of others.
The reissue will also feature an introductory essay written by author and music critic Nelson George. George hosted a live conversation with D’Angelo for Red Bull Music Academy back in 2014 which you can watch below.
The reissue comes out on 25 August via Virgin.
