A star-studded crew turned up for Missy Elliott’s performance
It looks like Missy Elliott had a blast at FYF Fest this weekend (21-23 July) at LA’s Exposition Park. The legendary hitmaker took to Twitter to document her experience and spotlight the stars who turned up for her performance. Beyoncé was spotted dancing backstage, while Tyler, The Creator, Janet Jackson and Katy Perry have been videoed showing their support down at the front.
Furthermore, Missy Elliott has tweeted a photo of her backstage with the Knowles sisters and Solange has followed up a tweet that reads: “your my idol, my avant-garde icon and #cancerseason captain forever”.
Missy Elliott has also praised the Icelandic icon Björk. Tweeting a selfie of the two together, Elliott said, “YOU are LEGENDARY! & your MUSIC & BEATS & CREATIVITY have been inspiring for ppl like me!”
