We’re excited to have the premiere of Placid One’s C Balloon track – a newcomer on the Ransom Note label
Steadfast to their commitment to bringing impressive dance artists to the table, Ransom Note Records is set to release Belgian producer Placid One’s C Balloon EP on 21 July.
With a focus on analogue techno, newcomer Placid One’s eponymous opening track scales arpeggiating synths to build a sense of mystery and sonic ascension. Totally beatless, it’s a slice of blissful, therapeutic techno exploration.
The five-track EP comes complete with two remixes by Ransom Note artists Cass. and Timothy ‘Heretic’ Clerkin.
Inspired by artists such as the revered Aphex Twin, Orbital and Kirk Degiorgio, the young talent has already garnered support from Michael Mayer, Vladimir Ivkovic, Moscoman, Jacques Renault and Orpheu the Wizard amongst others.
