Bicep throw back to UK rave culture on new single Glue

Listen to the second track lifted from their forthcoming debut album

The Belfast-born, London-based duo of Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson have unveiled the second single from their forthcoming album today (3 August). With its ascetic breakbeat the track’s a clear nod to the UK’s foundational rave culture. Glue follows from the release of the more euphoric, driving house cut Aura.

The duo are currently on tour, and they’ve been confirmed for a show at Dekmantel Festival tomorrow (4 August). Performances have been scheduled for Into The Factory and Lost Village, and they’ll be taking over the decks at London’s Electric Brixton on 11 November and Bristol’s Motion on 17 November. Head here for more info and tickets.

Check out the artwork and stream Glue below. Bicep’s self-titled debut is slated for release on 1 September via Ninja Tune. You can pre-order the album here.
