King Krule releases surreal video for new track Czech One

And he’s announced a world tour

Last night, Archy Marshall – otherwise known as King Krule – made his return with the sombre, ambient track Czech One, released via True Panther. The video for Czech One has now been shared online, and the Frank Lebon-directed visual sees the artist wander through an aeroplane and cities at night. Surreal scenes show Marshall stepping out onto the streets from the plane, with a woman offering him cigarettes.

According to Pitchfork, Czech One will be released on 7″ vinyl on 13 September, via True Panther/XL. It’ll also feature another track, entitled Drum Surfer. Furthermore, the artist has announced the dates for a world tour.

The song comes after a cryptic poster and the teaser video Bermondsey Bosom featuring a snippet of new material.

Marshall’s last full length album was 2015’s A New Place To Drown, released under his birth name. With his King Krule moniker, his last album was 2013’s 6 Feet Beneath the Moon.
