Rough Trade to open new store in Bristol

It’s coming to Nelson Street

Good news for music fans. Rough Trade will be opening its fourth store on Bristol’s Nelson Street, following on from Rise’s closure. With its first beginnings in 1976, with one store in West London, there are now currently two Rough Trade stores in London, one in Nottingham and another in New York.

In a statement posted online, the team behind Rise said that they’ve been working with Rough Trade for years and together they’ll be opening the new store, which will feature a “café, bar and incredible live performance space”.

Rise Bristol will close at the end of summer. Read their full statement below.
