RZA to relaunch legendary streetwear brand Wu Wear

The Wu-Tang Clan’s clothing brand is back

Two of the original founding members of iconic streetwear label Wu Wear – Robert Diggs (aka RZA) and Oliver Grant (aka Power) – have announced the revival of the clothing brand. Together, they’ll partner with Live Nation for the relaunch.

The brand first launched in 1995 and has been on a hiatus for nearly ten years. Classic designs will be re-released, along with items embodying an updated aesthetic.

“Just like Wu Tang Clan’s Music, Wu Wear Brand has stood the test of time for the primary fact of its uniqueness,” Rza said via a press statement. “Being a sound and style that’s hip hop in its foundation, it has evolved to be a subculture of its own. The spirit and swag that the brand invokes has been inspirational to multiple generations across a diverse spectrum. Although there have been pirates who’ve sought to imitate the brand, there’s nothing like the real thing and this official relaunch by the founders will be just that – ‘The real Wu Wear/Wu-Tang brand.'”

The brand’s debut is currently taking place at Las Vegas’ Agenda, from 14-16 August. A collection will be launching for SS18 to coincide with the 25th anniversary of Wu-Tang’s 1993 album Enter the 36 Chambers and will be made available in select retail chains.
