The Bristol band are calling for fans to search for their missing guitars in London

In an online post published today (28 September), the Bristol band have reported that three guitars of “huge sentimental value” have been stolen. Last night (27 September), the band’s car was broken into at north London’s Tufnell Park. A pastel yellow American Fender Telecaster Corona, pink Mexican Fender Stratocaster and a blue Mexican Fender Mustang have been taken.

The band are now calling for fans in London to help find the stolen equipment. The post reads: “Please share this post with your London friends, and help us find them! If you pass a pawn shop (e.g Cash Converters) please pop your head in and check on eBay and Gumtree as well please!”

Idles are currently on a UK tour, and they’ll be playing at Bristol’s Simple Things Festival on 21 October.
