Wes Anderson releases first official trailer for new film Isle of Dogs

The film features Bill Murray, Yoko Ono, Jeff Goldblum, Tilda Swinton and Scarlett Johansson

The acclaimed director has released the official trailer for his upcoming stop-motion film Isle of Dogs. The Indian Paintbrush-produced comedy will tell the story of a boy searching for his missing dog in Japan. It’s due to be released on 23 March, 2018, by Fox Searchlight Pictures.

The cast will feature Bill Murray, Yoko Ono, Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, Kunichi Nomura, Akira Takayama, Tilda Swinton, Scarlett Johansson and more.

Isle of Dogs is set to be Anderson’s first film since 2014’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, and it’s the director’s first stop-motion film since 2009’s Fantastic Mr. Fox. In December, the film director shared a teaser for the upcoming release and teamed up with crowdfunding platform CrowdRise to offer a fan the chance to be involved by donating to Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundation.
